Day 1: Connecticut – Ottawa

This morning we begin our travels to Canada arriving late afternoon in

Ottawa, Canada’s Capital City. Our accommodations for three nights will

be at the deluxe Lord Elgin Hotel, just steps away from the Rideau Canal

and historic downtown Ottawa.

Day 2: Ottawa Sightseeing – Byward Market

We begin our day with breakfast in the hotel’s fabulous restaurant before

setting out for a full day adventure. Our guide will show us the nation’s

Capital including the look out at Museum of History, the famed Rideau

Canal, Rockcliffe District and much more. Our day will also include a

visit to the Rideau Hall, the home of the Governor General of Canada

since 1865. Many of the greatest historical figures of the twentieth

century have been guests at Rideau Hall.

Afterwards, we stop for lunch and shopping at Byward Market, one of

Canada’s largest outdoor markets and offering fabulous restaurants and

shops. (Breakfast included)

Day 3: RCMP Training Center – Ottawa River Cruise

After breakfast we head to the RCMP Musical Ride Training Center,

home of the famed Canadian Mounties. Experience a living tribute to

Canadian heritage and history and be charmed by the beauty and

elegance of the thoroughbred horses. We will visit the stables and the

carriage house where all the gear for the famed Musical Ride is lovingly

maintained. We will visit the Farrier Station where a blacksmith continues

the age-old tradition of making horseshoes and shoeing the horses.

After lunch at Byward Market we will experience the enchanting beauty of

the National Capital Region like never before on the world-famous

Ottawa River Cruise. This unforgettable journey takes in over 50

landmarks from Parliament Hill to the Canadian Museum of History and

the stunning Rideau Falls! Get ready to be mesmerized by the awesome

scenery as we sail along the sparkling waters.

This evening we take our seat for the original all-Canadian musical

experience at the Oh Canada Eh? Dinner Show. You’ll enjoy over 65 hit

songs from Canadian artists like Gordon Lightfoot, The Guess Who, Celine

Dion, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams and many more.

Day 4: Ottawa – Connecticut

After breakfast we reluctantly leave Ottawa with fond memories of our visit

to Canada’s beautiful Capital City. (Breakfast included)

This tour requires proof of citizenship with a valid passport or Canadian card.

Your expiration date must be at least 6 months after your date of return. Please have your passport on you when boarding and do not pack in your luggage. This will expedite our process in going through customs.
